sue's first wet,windy '12 walk...
a huge turn out and some typically miserable kinder weather, but we had fun and lovely to see so many faces out as well as some new ones. an interesting diversion was the fun of gyro-orienteering, tho an early rebellion foreshortened the hunt as the pub fire beckoned!
well done sue for making kinder a little bit more interesting, the kids certainly managed to enjoy it despite the weather. ian
little langdale
thank you chris for a very enjoyable meet, your curry was lovely and we were especially impressed by your provision of superb weather! susi and ian

Was up on kinder yesterday and the downfall is obviously in condition to ice climb. So get sharpening your tools and get up there, if that's your sort of thing?

sue's sunday amble over kinder
sue's winter meets got off to a well supported start with a trog from the snake inn up fairbrook naze, some bog trotting heading west to this moody view of hardy club members on 'mad womans stones'. after some discussions as to where we were(?)a lovely, slightly haphazard descent to the snake road followed. and just when we thought it was all over, off we went again up the other side of the pass and round a woods to descend with darkness approaching to a much needed pint in the snake inn. actually a good walk sue and really good to get to chat to lots of folks. a good atmosphere.
