The Mynydd welcomes applications for membership from anyone over 18.
We like to think of ourselves as a friendly, non-elitist club, and while we have some very capable climbers in our membership, we operate at all grades and have all ages (male and female), whether hill walking, alpine or traditional climbing on the Edges of the Peak. Our evening and weekend meets are very informal and anyone who wishes to attend need only turn up to get climbing, so do come down and meet us !
There is no need to join immediately – we recommend getting to know us a bit first!
One of the best ways to find out about the club is to meet us at The Royal Hotel, Hayfield on Thursday nights after 9.30pm (the pub is in the centre of Hayfield village opposite the church). Alternatively you could attend one of our Tuesday evening or Weekend meets (see the Meets pages and Forum for more details). Either way, please contact Steve first, so that we are looking out for you and can give you a warm welcome!
The club has 3 types of membership (Aspirant, Full and Honorary):
Aspirant Membership is available to all new members by payment of £17 (2009 rates). The Aspirant application form is downloadable or from Membership Secretary.

The additional benefits of Full membership are:

Annual subscriptions are due by the end of January each year. (Delays to renewals will invalidate an individual’s BMC insuarance cover).
